regimental colours sash/holder
Is there a correct name for the leather or ceremonial holder that is used to carry the colours on parade in ?
If so what is it, and where can I get hold of 2, I have tried the RBL not as easy as I thought, willing to pay for them.
Any help welcome.

Re: regimental colours sash/holder
They are simply called Colour Belts, details below.
BELTS - STANDARD, GUIDON AND COLOUR
240. Patterns for Infantry (Except the Guards Division). The belts are made of buff hide (except those for The Light Infantry) and are fitted with a gilt buckle, slide and tip, a regimental plate is not provided. They are worn on the left shoulder. The Light Infantry are provided with a black plastic belt with a silvered buckle, slide and tip.
I hope this is of some use. Have you tried RHQ.Maybe Mick Donnely at QM's 3 R Welsh can help, if you dont ask you dont get
Regards Colin
