Have to correct you there, the attendance you quoted was for a wales game, but of course you Jacks wouldent know that because you never attend any wales games?

Re: Blue Birds Blue Birds
You deserve it Dutch, what makes me mad is this comment from the Walabout pub in Cardiff, again football fans stuffed
"A spokesman for Walkabout pub on St Mary Street, Cardiff, said: “Like many of the other large bars in the City centre and in line with licensing agreements we cannot show Cardiff City’s televised matches.
“However, the Toulouse v Cardiff Blues Heineken Cup match will be on live in the venue.
We are not evan talking about awayfans being there and they still stuff us football fans.
Would this happen in Swansea or Liverpool?
Comments please.

Re: Blue Birds Blue Birds
Same problem in Swansea with Walkabout and a Swans game it must be a chain pub thing i think this goes back to a previous thread High Jinks / Performing = rugby / football fans

Dutch
Are you aware of this appointment?
From an official Newport County email circular.....
The club is pleased to announce that former welsh soccer legend and BBC TV pundit Leighton James has joined the club as chief executive.
Mr James who coached county back in the eighties and brings a wealth of experience to the club. Mr James is well respected in welsh football circles for his charisma and charm.
Everyone at Newport County would like to welcome Leighton to club.
What a legend, and he supports Barnsley.
Benny reference the 60,000 as an attendance you must be right as even with hammer fans you wouldn't be able to achieve that figure.

Benny I dont think the Walkabout bar chain adopts the policy everywhere. i watched a Liverpool away game in Liverpool's Walkabout bar in the city centre, and that was away at Man ure!! This was about two seasons ago, but you can still watch Liverpool matches there.
