Barry I sent you an email yesterday asking you to send the photo to me so I can see what the problem is.

I take it you never received it!

    Barry,

97kb max is a good size.

I use Piccassa and reduce the pixel size, although it is a little time consuming. However if anyone can point out a better online tool for reducing images please shout out.

    Re: System Error?

Barry, your photo is now in the Gallery. You can change the title and description to suit yourself.

I used Microsoft Office Picture Manager to compress the file. This is a software program included with Microsoft Office suite starting with version 2003. It is a basic image-editing and image-management program, designed to be similar to iPhoto and other such applications. It has the ability to crop, resize, and convert images between various formats like Paint, but with comparably better picture quality, due to being able to select compression level.

Here are two other programs that you could use if you don't have the one above. They can be downloaded directly from this Thread and both of them are free:
    1. VSO Image Resizer - an excellent alternative to the above Picture Manager
    2. Windows XP Image Resizer. This PowerToy enables you to resize one or many image files with a right-click.
