Would very much like to find out the whereabouts of my old Malaya 7 training buddy, and Fort George roommate Ray Scanlon Hq armoury Lemgo . He lived in Pontlottin Rhondda valley!?! Is there anybody on the forum who could help me to get in contact with him or he could get in touch with me as I will be in South Wales in summer??

BT throws up these numbers Rob, when you search on the name Scanlon - Pontlottyn. Its an unusual name. I would just phone the Pontypridd number, and see if they are family:

Thanks AP It`s a long shot just thought maybe someone closer in S Wales could help so many old boys still around. Thanks for the different phone numbers tho . 4 points: 1.ref Michael J O`Niell am waiting for a reply to an Email enquiry sent to Bad Bevensen Cemetary Offices ref the exact location of his grave. They are the correct authority to get information off . 2 I seem to have constantly on my Private Message site an unread msg ! and I cannot find it ! am I just too stupid ! 3: when I get some msgs I have`nt always got a Thank You bar to klick and answer them ! 4: What do I have to do to send a few old photos onto the forum and how do I do it ? When you have time could you give me a couple of tips Thanks again SR17

Thanks Rob, getting a decent picture of his grave will mean a lot to his family, and confirm he was still RWF at the time of his death.

Go into the gallery, click on the upload button, then browse your hard drive and select the picture. Fill in the title, the main text box, and select the category that the pic will appear in.

Make sure the picture is under 100kb in size....click submit....and thats it.
