Re: Stuart Brunton (stubexpc@yahoo.co.uk..)
Having just returned home to a load of messages I have to say both as the moderator of the Band link and as a former member of the 1RWF Band I am absolutely shattered to hear of Stu's passing. It was only a 8 or so weeks ago I was in contact with him regarding finding Rob Peel and he was over the moon and was going to visit him.
On behalf of the Band Association I would want to pass on our sencere condolences to his family and will speak to Amy tomorrow.
God Bless you Stuart until we meet again on that Great parade ground above.

Re: Stuart Brunton (stubexpc@yahoo.co.uk..)
Like many other forum members I did not know Stu personally but got to know him through his many posts on the Forum. This still comes as a great shock and again at Christmas time, such a loss.
My thoughts are with his family at this time, Stuart will be very much missed!

Re: Stuart Brunton (stubexpc@yahoo.co.uk..)
From his forum contributions Stu proved what a valued member he was, given we only knew a small part of his character, I can imagine he was a fantastic person who made a positive impact on those whose lives he touched. It is indeed strange to develop online friendships with people we've never met, but for someone to make such a "virtual" impact has to speak volumes. Our deepest sympathies and condolences.

Re: Stuart Brunton
Just to let everyone know Stuart's Funeral is being held at Stonefall Crem on thursday 3rd January @1100hrs.
Details of how to get there are below:
How to get to Stonefall
From the A1(M) take the A661 to Harrogate from Wetherby, through Spofforth, until you come to the main roundabout connecting the A658. Continue straight across on the A661 into Harrogate until you see a set of traffic lights, and Sainbury's on the left hand side. The entrance to Stonefall Cemetery is just prior to the traffic lights on the right hand side. This is an entrance only. The exit is right onto Forest Lane, back onto the A661.
If you are coming up from the south connect with the M1 and A1(M) for Wetherby, rather than go through Bradford and Leeds.

Re: Stuart Brunton
Having been away from the forum over the Holidays I'm deeply shocked to hear the sad news about Stu. Our thoughts go out to Stu.s family and friends and fellow comrades.

Re: Stuart Brunton
I too think Al said it all. He seemed a wonderful man and I know his family will miss him deeply.
Rest in peace Stuart, enjoy the good company of the RWF club in the sky.
Our thoughts and prayers are with your family
God Bless
