    Victory Services Club London

Anyone stayed there recently? The eldest daughter is at Uni about 45 mins away from London, she travels into the capital on the weekends and is always looking for somewhere safe to crash. They offer family membership for £40 per year, which means the brats can book a room from £28. Its basic, but is it safe and easily accessable?

    Any views?

I was there last year. The accommodation isn't up to much in the Old Club House, which features traditional 'Mess Style' accommodation with single and double shared facilites.

A better option is the Memorial Wing houses. They have modern, ensuite bedrooms which benefit from television sets and tea & coffee making facilities.

    Al,

Have you looked at the Union Jack Club website? It is directly opposite Waterloo Station and there is car parking available. I have stayed there a few times and the rooms are
en-suite with telly. Can't recall the current rates. Meals not included in the price.
    Hope this expands the options.
    Regards
    Mhairi
