    Thumbs up Re: "berlin"

If you dont mind me asking, is this a private company trip or is it something you have organised yourself. When I was in Berlin I didnt have any interest in Army history (or much else except enjoying myself) so I missed out when we were there.

This is something I have wanted to do for a while and your post has got me thinking again.

    Meds,

I went out last year, its still a great place to visit. I went up to kladow, have a chat with the Germans on the gate of the old camp, and they will let you take a quick look around the camp. The areas are **** though!!! Kladow looks a bit nicer now, its been done out.

As Jase said, it would be nice to have a photo of some of the old places... most of them by charlottenburg train station!!! And you can actually get into the Irish bar in the Europa Centre now! The Ku'Dorff, (underground bars) are still there!!

    Have a good time!!!

    Olly

I am ex-WO2 Spider Hughes, formerly RWF. Your name rings a bell but can't recall you properly - just me getting old!

I bought a flat in Spandau in September this year - would appreciate a little bit of help getting things organised, regarding one or two points such as hooking up to electricity, buying paint, cheapest place to buy furniture, and so on.

Our flat is in Elisabethstrasse, off Schonwalder Strasse. Anywhere near you? Maybe we can meet up for a few beers next time I'm in the city.

Hope you can help us out.

Best Wishes and Y Dewi Sant
