Councillor Arthur Hanna

I have just been informed by the Chester Chronicle newspaper of the sudden death of Councillor Arthur Hanna - step father of Nick Hughes 07. Arthur passed away in the Countess of Chester hospital yesterday afternoon 21st Oct 07 after suffering from Lukemeia, although he was not a member of the forum or branch, Arthur was the driving force for the "Support our Troops" Campaign (comfort boxes for the Royal Welsh Lads in Afghanistan and Iraq) here in Deeside North Wales. Our sympathy and thoughts go out Pam, Nick and all the family and friends and comrades' at this time.

The funeral of Arthur will take place on Friday 26th Oct 07 at 1330hrs,the service is at St Marks church Connah's Quay Deeside North Wales with a cremation at Blacon crematorium Chester afterwards.
