    Hughie Owen

I've heard just this last evening that Hughie Owen aged 88 a member of the Shotton and Deeside Branch RWFCA. has passed away and his funeral service will take place at Mold Parish Church ( the big one on the hill) at 1100hrs Friday 10th August 2007.

Hughie served in the RWF during the 2nd WW and was a Japanese POW for most part of the Far East Campaign, an excellent Branch Member who supported the Branch 100%.

Our thoughts go out to Marion and his family and friends. "old soldiers never die, they just fade away"
