History of the RWF Band's 1945-1994
I am about to embark on a task I have been meaning to undertake for some years....that of writing the history of the varoius Band's that served the Royal Welch Fusiliers post 1945.
My motivation for this undertaking (apart from having served in the 1RWF Band) is primarily down to the fact that on my last visit to the RWF Museum in Caernarfon I was mortified to see that the only tentative mention that the Regiment even had Band's was the dispaly of the Musical Score to the March penned by the March King himself John Phillip Sousa entitled The Royal Welch Fusilier.
I would be greatful if anyone who has documentation, photographs or any snippet of information that could be used in this tome, could get hold of me on the contact points set out below.
Of course all items sent for publication will be acknowledged and sent back to the sender when project is completed.
Many thanks in anticipation of a flood of responses.

Dear Paul,
Regrettably there is very little history of the Regimental Band on display at the Museum, I'm sure that there are many artefacts held in the Museum archives. Thae Band notes in the Regimental Journal over many years would be helpful to you.

Paul,
Having just "dusted down the photographs hanging in the Harry Weale VC Drill Hall of which I'm the caretaker I have notice a photograph presented by 1 of our branch members of the Regimental Band's last performance July 1994, I will copy it and send it to you.
All the best in your venture.
Best Regards
