    Question clubs in wales

    my grt grt grandfather was a keen member of the rugby club and a member of the chapel of ease oap and a member of the top club could anybody help me with what the clubs where and any web addresses i can email to ask about if anyone knows of my grt grt grandfather

    Do you have a rough idea of where in Wales we are looking? There were plenty of Chapels of Ease throughout Wales. These were provided for the ease and comfort of those living some distance from the main parish church.

    Hi Julie,

    As Bob has mentioned, Rugby and Chapels are most prominent in South Wales., some East and West Rugby players have played for Wales but, on research, can't find a North Walian.

    However, if you can give me more specific details of your family tree, grandad in particular, I will see what I can do.

    Try the WRU web site for the clubs its got most of them

    hi bob he lived in lian-fach a place called twyn place thats where he died when he was 76...it was from a newpaper cutting my mum gave me if that is any help thankyou julie
