    This is Very sad news, Hugo was a character and a half and a brilliantly funny man !

    Saddened by this tragic news. I worked with Hugo throughout his time as a drummer. Anyone who knew him as the life and soul of the Corps and MT Platoon will be shocked by this terrible news. Our deepest sympathy to his family on this sad day.

    Hugo was a character in the Drums Platoon a likeable lad always up for a laugh, he will be missed.

    A sad loss of a good mate from the drums and the MT, I am sure a lot of people will be shocked by this sad news.

    Spoke to a few drummers past and present last night. What a mate to lose. God bless him . I hope heaven,s got some sticks and a side drum ready. The following send their commisarations: Steve(Slim) Jones:Paul Jones 83:Ev 27 and by now many more.

    very sad news, a real character was hugo .the times we have done the drum display together are to numerous to mention.many fond memories.my thoughts are with his family and also all who knew and worked with him.rest in peace mate.
