Anything on The above RWF soldier the lady that is asking about any info on him it was her great uncle she said he wa s a goat major in the WW2 and was at Dunkirk ?

I can't find a Thomas Valtis, but the enlistment register has a Thomas Valters 4192175, attested 16/05/1934 and left the Regt 25/12/1944. Perhaps he is the man you are looking for. No further information found.

Perhaps to confirm what John Has discovered re Thomas Valters as against Thomas Valtis.
Thomas Valters born 28.8.1914 at LLangwm, Denbighshire, the birth registered at Corwen, died Croyden 1966. Son of Robert Valters born 1885 Newark, Nottinghamshire and in 1911 was living in the Corwen area.

Having spoken to lady concerned today, he is the person (I spelt his surname wrong, my apologies) can you find out anymore info on his service record please what Bn, where he served, medals etc?

My databases only contain Great War data, Benny, so I can't be of much help. But the lady concerned could spend 35 pounds on the service record, if she really wants to know.
