Trace a [NOT RWF] soldier
Anyone got any ideas on how to trace a [NOT RWF] soldier who served in the 70s and 80s? I have tried all the obvious places, regimental associations, social media platforms, advertised in National and locally relevant newspapers, ex-service associations, trade associations etc.
As it is very hard to not leave a 'paper trail' on the web it is possible he could be deceased, unfortunately I have not army number and this chap has a common surname.
Any suggestions would be gratefully received.

Log into forces reunited. Put as much information as possible. Year of enlisting, places served anyone that you might know that he used to knock about with. Where he did his training etc. Upload any images that you might have, especially group ones as someone may know details of other people pictured , that might have information. I found my dad after 40 years by using this website.
Good luck

Re: Trace a [NOT RWF] soldier
Hi,
Is it possible to tell us the Corps/Regiment of the person you are seeking?
Thanks
Alan
PS. You could PM me if you do not wish to go public. I don't have access to Service peronal details. But an added person might be luckier in a search.
I help out on the BAOR/BFG Web Site. Look me up under ' Alan 8376'. We don't put info in public if we go PM with any help we can.
