It has been found that there were where 23 names of young men killed in WW1 (6 of them RWF) that were for various reasons left off the War Memorial in Old Colwyn . With this being the centenary of the end of WW1 it was decided to try and have their names placed on the memorial. £5,000 was needed and has been raised. A service of dedication in St John's Church, Old Colwyn, Colwyn Bay. LL29 9EL on Sun 4th Nov at 1500hrs has been arranged. This will be attended by both military and civilian with a large numbers of VIP's attending. Any standards and Comrades would be welcome to attend.
