    some 6th para (Royal Welch) medals

    Here are three groups to the 6th (Royal Welch) Parachute battalion to men that jumped in operation Dragoon in Southern France and later served in orher units.

    1st (left) is to 14235885 SGT R EMERY AAC. In Palestine he served with 6 Para, this is a typical medal group to 6 Para for WW2, which was formed from 10th Bn Royal Welch, He jumped on Op Dragoon 1944 as part of C Company.

    Next (top right) is to L Davison, who also jumped on Op Dragoon. He later served as Cpl 4867959 RASC in Palestine.

    Last one is to 6016534 pte G B Spalding AAC on the territorial medal, on roll for Palestine with 22207972 with 6th Parachute battalion who also is beleived to have taken part on Dragoon.
