Sam was a Battalion character, well known and much liked by all. He had a cheerful demeanour, boundless enthusiasm and enormous personality.
Our thoughts and prayers are very much with his family at this time.

I remember Sam well. I was in the same Platoon as him in the Depot. A load of us from JSC Coy the Depot passed out with them in Korea 7 Pl. We gave Sam a lift home after passing out. So very sad when someone you know or have known passes on. RIP Sam. Gone but never forgotten.

Re: Death of SAM MOON - 1RWF.
Sam's funeral service went well with a small turnout from family, friends and comrades. The exhortation was said by Captain(Retired) Martin Hargreaves and the Rhyl and District standard was on parade. A special thanks to members of the Wrexham branch who attended.
