Campaign by Wrexham Armed Forces Community Covenant to preserve 4 Veterans standards.

Hello fellow forum members,

I hope you don't mind me bringing to your attention the campaign to preserve these standards, Normandy, Korea, 8th Army and Burma standards. The launch is this week at Wrexham museum and people associated with Wrexham and the armed forces have been asked to make a short film and be a 'face' in support of why these standards should be preserved. I have been asked to say why I think they should, gulp!

It is going to take thousands of pounds to preserve them and some of the veterans you see on my photos have given what money they can bless them.

I am asking if you could get behind the campaign and help me publicise it as much as possible as the target must be reached within a month on crowd funding for it to be successful. If you are on twitter please follow @wxmarmedforces and I will be doing what I can on my accounts @poppywales and @clairey_lew . It will be on youtube and other social media too.
