Good day, I am looking for some assistance.

A member of our Wrexham Branch as asked if I can find out any information on a relative of his.

4198109 Fusilier Ernest Raymond Fowles, 7th Bn Royal Welch Fusiliers. Buried in Landican Cemetery, Birkenhead.

I would go down the service records and death certificate route with him being buried in the UK. If you are very lucky you might get a mention in the units war diary.

Enlisted 15/1/1940

Departed Regiment 12/3/1941. I assume that's his date of death? The 7th Battalion was based in Northern Ireland during this service period.
