Daily Telegraph Fantasy Football - World Cup 2014
Attachment 3407
The Telegraph is running the above competition. http://fantasyfootball.telegraph.co....e/view/8059233
Telegraph Fantasy Football World Cup is all about making the tournament in Brazil even more enjoyable. So I've created our own private private league for the forum. Unfortunately, there is a cost to creating a team, which is £3 for one team. There’s no extra cost to setting up our own private league.
Just follow the instructions on the screen once you’ve picked your team. You will need the name of the league and Pin, which are: RWF FORUM WORLD CUP. PIN: 8059233 RWF FORUM WORLD CUP
All entries to Private Leagues must be completed before before 13.59 (BST) on Wednesday, June 18, 2014.

Re: Daily Telegraph Fantasy Football - World Cup 2014
Thanks, Roger. Just follow the instructions in the first post.
A few more notes:
IMPORTANT NOTE: PLAYER LIST
World Cup squads for the 32 nations involved will be announced between now and June 2 so we’ll be continually adding players to the selection list. But don’t let that stop you registering, you can tinker with your team as much as you like right up until the first match kicks-off on June 12.
HOW TO PLAY
Put your selection skills to the test with an initial £50m budget to put together a team made up of the World’s finest players. You can change your team as much as you like until the first match kicks off on June 12. After that, you have 40 transfers to tinker with your team during the World Cup.
Knock-out stages - budget increase
After the 48 group matches, your budget will go up from £50m to £60m for the final 16 knock-out matches - so make sure you keep a few transfers up your sleeve for the final 16 matches of the World Cup.
The better your players perform – scoring goals, keeping clean sheets etc - the more points you’ll score. The game is great fun to play and, with fantastic prizes up for grabs, every match will matter that bit more – especially if you crank up the rivalry and banter by creating your own private league with friends (see ‘Private Leagues’).
The first match of the tournament – Brazil v Croatia - kicks off at 9.00pm (BST) on Thursday, June 12.

Teams and team managers to date.
Liam, are you aware that currently your team selection is open to the public? If you log into your team, the option to change from Private to Public status, and vice versa, is shown just above the team value box on the My Team page and is highlighted in the blue background with the team name. You can change this status whenever you wish to. If you click on Private, your team will not be visible in the league.

Re: Daily Telegraph Fantasy Football - World Cup 2014
MAKING TRANSFERS
You can tinker with your team as much as you like right up until the first World Cup match kicks off at 9pm on June 12. After that you’ll have 40 transfers to use during the tournament so you can replace injured, suspended and under-performing players with fresh faces to keep your points tally ticking over.
Transfer between matches!
You can change your team right up until the scheduled kick off of any match during the tournament – and they will score points from you in that match. So you can make transfers between matches – which means you can wait to see the confirmed team line-ups before making a move.
Knock-out stages - increased budget
You start with a £50m budget to spend on players for the group stage and then, after the 48 group matches, your budget increases to £60m for the final 16 knock-out matches. So use your transfers wisely!

Re: Daily Telegraph Fantasy Football - World Cup 2014
YOUR TEAM BUDGET
75% of World Cup matches take place in the group stage. However, after that, your team Budget will increase from £50m to £60m - so make sure you save a few transfers back for the all-important knockout stage.
