L of F Dinner 11 May 2014

A very enjoyable evening was had by all who attended a vote of thanks to Martin for his organising skills.
At a Committee meeting Prior to the dinner it was decided that we would change the name to that of The league of Friends The Royal Welsh, this would enable us to incorporate the 1st Battalion and extend the future of the League. Please make an entry in your Diaries for next Years Dinner to be held at the Metropole over the weekend of the 8,9,10th May 2015. May I request that other Regimental Groups do not hold a function over the same weekend?

I agree with everything that has been said, and that Martin has done a great job. Let's hope we can get an even better attendance next year!!!!!

i agree that martin has done a good job with the lof but for £35 a head i hope that the meal next year will be worth the money as it was not worth £35. l hope that next year will be something worth eating.

It's not just 'the meal' that your £35 pays for, it's a charge per head for the type of function, extra staff have to be paid, etc.

i am awere that £35 is not just for the meal it is only a comment, i have had better meals at the lof,for £25, i also am awere that things go up in price i still think it is a bit of a rip off. for what we were presented with could have been a lot better lets hope that nextyear will be better.
