Yes it's Australian, in fact the Advocate was Tasmanian. This particular newspaper was a daily and you can access it's editions between 1919 and 1954 on line for free.

The Trove website also has a numerous other Australian titles going back even further.

I tried the search engine putting in "Royal Welch Fusiliers" and it came back with 407. Needless to say I have not read all of them.

I did a dip into the Advocate for the years 1939-1946 and the coverage of the Second World War reporting appeared to be very good not only of events in Europe but of course more relevant for Australia, Japanese actions. D-Day was reported in the 7th June 1944 edition.
