    The men who died at Quetta 1911-1914
    Little is known about the first four men

    Lc.Sgt. Squires James 2406 'B'Coy Died April 16th 1912 aged 40


    Colour Sgt. Charles Taylor beloved husband of Sara Taylor Died Aug.24th 1912 aged 35


    Pte. Rylands H.C. 9533 'A' Coy Died Nov. 8th 1912

    Lc.Cpl. 1020 Owen Jones died 13th Feb 1914 aged 22


    Pte Perrett G.W. 9464 'A'Coy Died Jan.4th 1912
    Henry (Harry) Perrett was born in Bristol c1888 son of Henry and Matilda of 170 Whitehill Road, St George, Bristol he enlisted at the age of 19 into the RWF at Pertam Down Camp on June 6th 1907 and after a severe bout of Gonorrhea died of Gangrene poisoning,

    Lance Corporal Richard Woodcock 8695 'F Coy 2nd Batt RWF Died 19th March 1912 aged 26
    Richard Woodcock was born at Glossop Derbyshire c1886 he enlisted in Manchester on 3rd March 1905. Next of kin Maria Jane his mother.

    Pte.Cund F. 9167'A'Coy Died 6th Jan 1913, Erected by Offices, NCO's and Company men
    Frank Cund was born in Birmingham 1882, the son of Christopher Cund of 260 Highgate Road Sparkbrook, B’ham he enlisted on 20th July 1906 giving his age as 19 (he was 24) He was a bit of a strange chap saying he did not have his inoculations for service abroad And was kept under observation for a week at Bhamo, Burma and so depressed his comrades thought he was going to commit suicide by jumping overboard when he was on R.I.M.S. HARDINGE and as soon as the ship docked he was transferred to Karachi. He died of Enteric Fever at Quetta

    In Loving memory of Sgt. Alfred Wraight 2nd Bn beloved husband of Fanny Wraight Died 31st Dec 1913
    Alfred Wraight was born at Snodland Kent in 1880, son of Henry and Rhoda. He joined the RWF as a musician at the age of 14 years 9 months at Wrexham on 5th April 1894. Alfred fought in the Boer War and received the Queen’s and King’s South Africa medal with clasps Cape Colony, Orange Free State, Tugula Heights, Relief of Ladysmith and SA 1901-02. He married Fanny Hooker at St Mary’s Church Guilford, Surrey on 4th Feb.1907 and they had the following children
    Rhoda Elizabeth born 4th Aug 1908 at Wrexham
    Twins, Fanny and Edith born 26th June 1910 at Shwebo
    Mercy Homer born 26th Jan 1912 at Quetta and died the same year
    Sgt Alfred Wraight 4266 2nd Bn RWF died of pneumonia on 31st Dec 1913
