Epsom Festival meeting tipping competition

Thought I might try and drum up some interest in horse racing with this new competition.

Prizes
None unfortunately, unless you want to put £5 into the pot – otherwise it’s just bragging rights! If you are interested in taking part, please post here

Rules
1. Choose three horses on each day of the Epsom meeting meeting and post them here in advance or wait until the day itself.
2. Make one of them your (nap). The SP will be doubled on that horse. Those not specifying a nap will go napless and may well regret it!
3. Win only. No each-way.
4. Changes for non-runners can be made up until the time of the race concerned.
5. Anyone missing a day can carry on the following day but will have three 'units' knocked off their running total (i.e. a missed day is treated as three losers).
6. If there is a tie for any of the top three places, the order will be decided by number of winners tipped.
7. My decision - as reached by scribbling numbers all over a battered piece of paper - is final.

Examples
Your nap wins at 8-1 but your other horses lose. You make 16 units profit for the winner, so after deducting two units for your losing stakes your running total is +14.
Your nap loses but one of your other horses wins at 2-1. You make two units profit for the winner, so after deducting two units for your losing stakes your running total is zero.

All relatively self-explanatory, I think. I will be entering the competition too.
