89^th REUNION OF THE ROYAL WELCH FUSILIERS AND ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

TO BE HELD AT MEMORIAL HALL, WREXHAM 7^th – 8^th SEPTEMBER 2013

The Annual General Meeting and Reunion for 2013 will take place on the above-mentioned dates in the Memorial Hall, Wrexham.

OUTLINE PROGRAMME

Friday 6^th September 2013

Association Golf Competition to be held at Wrexham (Details to follow).

Saturday 7^th September 2013

1000hrs; Mayors Reception: Will take place in the Guildhall, three members per Branch to attend, please.

1200hrs; Annual General Meeting: The Annual General Meeting will take place in the Memorial Hall. Attendance at this meeting will be for Ordinary Members only; ID cards will be checked at the entrance door to the Hall, if a member fails to produce his ID card he/she will not be allowed into the meeting. The bar will open in the Memorial Hall following the Meeting

1300hrs; Lunch: Lunch will take place in the Memorial Hall, followed immediately by the Reunion Draw, first prize £500.

1900hrs; Reunion Dinner: To take place in the Memorial Hall, please be seated by 1845hrs. You are asked not to take your own drinks into the Memorial Hall, as the bar is run by a franchise.

At an appropriate time during the Dinner, the President will present those who have been selected for the award of the Comrades Medal for 2013.

2200hrs; Fast Food for Sale: The bar in the Memorial Hall will stay open until midnight and from 2200hrs you will be able to purchase a fresh bread roll filled with meat from a carvery of Pork and Beef. It is hoped that some of those who have not attended the Dinner will get together over a bite to eat and a pint in the Hall.

• Welcoming address by our Chairman.
• Opening address by our President.
• Approval of the 2012 minutes.
• Any matters arising from these minutes.
• Chairman’s Report.
• Auditors report by a representative of Hacker Young, our Accountants.
• Matters arising from the report.

Any branch wishing to speak at the meeting should inform the Association Secretary in writing 14 days before the date of the meeting.

Reunion Costs 2013

The cost to individuals for this year’s Reunion Tickets is as follows:

Annual Reunion Dinner - £15.00
Lunch Sat or Sunday - £5.00 per lunch
Ladies Lunch as above - £5.00 per lunch

Accommodation: It has been confirmed that accommodation will be available at Glyndwr University (NEWI) at the cost of £40 B&B per night. 1030hrs Act of Remembrance The Royal Welch Fusiliers War Memorial

Please be at the Memorial Hall for 1015hrs, as many Branch Standard Bearers as possible.
Format of the parade will be as normal with a March past the Mayor of Wrexham after the Church service.

1300hrs; Lunch: Lunch will take place in the Memorial Hall. The bar will be open in the Memorial Hall
following the Act of Remembrance.

Payment: Please include your cheque for full payment of your tickets. Tickets will not be issued until full payment has been received.
