Richard, As in earlier reply i need to speak to my uncle whos in his eightees and try and get some more numbers clues etc thanks for taking time with my enquirey i found out my fathers army number today it was 14487975 2nd bn cpl Roy Jones Kings regiment ,hope you dont mind other regs mentioned on here.Many thanks.
