Holyhead Comrades at Local Boxing Day Event.

We visited Holyhead for Christmas and our boys participated in a local charitable event called "Splash for Cash" organised amongst others, by ex RWF Ray Williams and Chris Burnell.

Ray Williams is very active within the sporting associations of Holyhead. Predominantly within the Welsh weightlifting sector. He personally trains and encourages the youngsters of the town, giving them a focus and self respect which will prepare them positively for adulthood. A number of these youngsters have achieved high-ranking positions within the sport. The event "Splash for Cash" has become a boxing-day tradition. Local youth and adults are sponsored to jump off a pier into the freezing Irish Sea. This event grows each year and attracts "splashers" from all over. See below for more information and photos.
