Re: Changes at Cardiff City FC
hi guys.
i have spent some time on CCFC's web site reading the statements given out by various notables of the club. i would like to say that i now know exactly whats going on, sadly, i can not.all i found was lots of kowtowing to the Malasian gods and the great and good of CCFC ensuring that they all had the same shade of Malasian Brown noses. apart from the proposals for the training ground i found nothing positive.
i think you are right gwyn when you say '' if or indeed when '' they reach the premier lge, then and only then should expansion be considered.
i think ccfc are very like wrexham. over the years they have promised much but always fail at the last hurdle. a new badge, strip and re branding is not going to change this. and for a team like Cardiff to be paying out such high wages is, to say the least, questionable. i am not sure that money alone is the answer, i suspect that the players no longer really have to fight for their place in the team.and probably do not have to rely on an '' old fashioned '' match winners bonus as in the old days. so maybe they should have a cut in wages and a bonus for good performance.
oh and while i have my Whinge head on get rid of these sponging parasites called '' players agents ''

Re: Changes at Cardiff City FC
Be careful what you wish for with new owners who promise everything and deliver nothing, We had this at Liverpool as you will be aware.

Re: Changes at cardiff city
Its the same with quite a few teams in the premiership,Man Utd owned by the Glazier family accountable to nobody, they own one of the richest NFL teams in the USA(the Tampa Bay Buccaneers)valued at 1.5 billion dollars, they just see football in this country as to get as much out of the brand Man Utd as possible,Liverpool owners have a struggling baseball team which is losing money hand over fist,so they must have been overjoyed when it was decided no new stadium for Liverpool,i think the manger Rodgers new nickname is Shoestring because unfortunately that,s what it seems he is playing on.QPR are owned by a guy who made a few bob in formula one so he will not stay about to long if the are relegated,as for Man City and Chelsea they are safe only as long as the novelty does not wear off and their present owners take their oil and gas dollars elsewhere,Blackburn are owned by some chicken farmers from India who do not seem to know the difference between an egg and a football,Birmingham city are owned by a Hong Kong chinese who is in prison(i think)awaiting trial on fraud charges
everyday i wake up i thank the lord i,m welsh
