With reference to Andy's funeral service at Whittington Bks, could all who are going to attend please be aware that because of security restrictions the Padre has asked that people are asked to arrive at least 30 - 45 mins before in order to clear security checks amd be in time for the service

    many thanks

    mick

    Re: Andy Carnell (89)

We would like to take the opportunity to thank everybody who attended Andy's funeral service held at St Georges Church, Whittington Barracks, yesterday 12thOctober. It was a great turnout, with his family and many friends and comrades in attendance. We would also like to thank the Padre, Stewart Young for conducting such a memorable and moving ceremony, he managed to catch the spirit of Andy perfectly. Our thanks also to Benny and 25 who carried the standards with pride both at the Church and the Crematorium afterwards, Glyn Hughes and Des Williams who helped Sandra through this sad time. The whole service was a fitting tribute to Andy who will always be in our hearts and thoughts, and to Sandra, Darren and Daniel, all of whom were strong at this very hard time for them, but I am sure being surrounded by family and friends made it so much easier to bear

Once again many thanks to all

    Mick and all the family
