The UEFA EURO 2012 opening ceremony in Warsaw on 8 June will bring sport and culture together, and combine heritage and innovation, to herald the start of this summer's tournament.

Join us in our Fussball Euro 2012 Prediction Competition. All you have to do is go to the Fussball page and predict the result of each match shown. You don't need to get it spot-on, although you get more points if you do!

How many points can be achieved for each possible result from a prediction?

0 Points for a completely wrong bet [Your bet 2:1 - Result 1:1 = 0 pts]
1 Point for a properly guessed match winner [Your bet 2:1 - Result 1:0 = 1 pt]
3 Points for a correctly guessed match winner and goal difference (Winning team/Losing team) [Your bet 2:1 - Result 3:2 = 3 pts]
5 Points for a exactly guessed match result [Your bet 2:1 - Result 2:1 = 5 pts]
