    Re: Ted Tudor

Yet again, more tragic news with the premature passing of Ted.

I shared many a beer with Ted and he was brilliant company. One of his strengths was his wicked sense of humour, coupled by the impish grin whenever a "Wind Up" or a "Cunning Plan" had either been executed or being orchestrated.

Verna and I offer our heartfelt sympathy to Cherry and family in their time of sorrow. It is hoped that some comfort can be taken from the messages and tributes paid to Ted on this Forum which have identified his popularity, friendship and the esteem in which he was held.

Deepest condolences are also conveyed on behalf of all members of the London Branch RWFCA.

Cherry, Thank you for this, it must be very hard for you. My thoughts, and so many others in the Regiment, are with you today. It is quite clear to me that Ted was greatly 'loved' by so many. For me he seems to have been a regular feature of my military life. He was always a great pleasure to spend some time with yarning. His particular brand of humour and wicked grin always went down well - he will be missed but will be well remembered. Bob
