    Re: Ted Tudor

I'm very saddened to hear this. Ted was a real character, spending time in his company over a pint was always a pleasure. A very dry sense of humour and a fantastic storyteller, his tales of soldiering in Hong Kong are firmly imprinted in my mind. My deepest sympathies to Cherry and their family at this very sad time.

Very fond memories of Ted in 12 plt. D Coy Hong Kong. I was his "chef" when he'd "borrowed" some meat (sausage, bacon, chicken etc) from the cookhouse at 3 ish in the morning. He'd wake me up and say "get the mess tin's out and the stove we've got cooking to do" What a character, you'll be missed Ted. RIP
