Reply Cleggy, I thought it was you when i saw the name, it would be great to see you at the reunion, Bernie, Gerrie, Wozzy, Skipper, and many others who served with you will be there, perhaps we can pay you back for all the tricks you played on us , Painting our fingernails pink on the plane to Cyprus, dropping your false teeth into our black mugs of tea and finding them when we nearly finished it, and lots more. John Cleghorn, aka Cleggy, served with Jones 60, Wozencroft, and G Huntley, now living in Londonderry, was over in Nov for the Wales Vs Australia Match Stayed with Malcolm 60, in Mountain Ash head a great time so I'm making a point of coming over for the reunion, I have been given a date of June 5th could that be confirmed, so I can sort out Accomodatio, thanks

Hello Chow,
Just as a point of interest what is the seating capacity of the Cardiff ex service men's club. Going from memory I thought it to be in or around about 60 seated comfortably, Just curious.

Hi Richard.
I have been told by the club that the lounge holds 30\40 comfy.
but i,m sure we can get a few more than that in.
but they have rooms with a bigger capacity,but with out a bar.

Numbers are getting better....

I have had a chat with Tony at the United Services Mess.
I have confirmed our booking for the reunion in Cardiff.
He tells me the club will not be open to the general public on Saturday night
so we will have to cover the bar person for the night approx £50.
they can lay on a buffet if required in a room opposite the lounge bar.
at £5 a head,
i must tell you that we have 39 members and friend attending at the moment so space may be an issue.
so to combat that the attendance list will be on the door.
If your names not on it you will not get in.

The question has been asked as to a raffle.on the evening.


I NEED TO KNOW NUMBERS FOR A BUFFET..£5 a head.
£1 a head to cover the bar person as the mess is not open on a Saturday.
Just a reminder this is predominately an Alphas reunion...
