Gwynfryn Cunnah died 1940
My mother used to be a close friend of Gwynfryn Cunnah before he went away. He left some photographs with her, many of them military but some of them personal, many taken in Hong Kong. I will be donating the military ones to the museum but I wanted to try to find any family of Gwynfryn to return the personal ones to them. I believe (if I have got it right) that Gwynfryn was killed on board the Lancastria in 1940. Did anyone know him or his family. I have tried using Ancestry to find his family but obviously not everyone is a member or uses it. His parents were Joseph and Sarah Cunah, from the Wrexham area and his no was 4190085. At the time of his death he was with the Cheshires. Any help would be appreciated.

Dear Christine,
If you visit the Commonwealth War Graves Commission Site www.cwgc.org and enter Gwynfryn details, at search for casualty, he is recorded on the site.
