Jack (John) Cardy
I have just been informed of the passing of Jack (John) Cardy
Jack passed away last Saturday surrounded by his family
Jack joined the 1st Battalion in the mid 1940's, as a band boy, Jack could not go to Jamaica with the Battalion (due to his asthma), but re-joined them in Germany on their return
My deepest condolences to Jack's wife Maureen and his family at this very sad and trying time
Rest in Peace Jack you duty is done
