    Communication

    Hello all,
Whilst attending the social evening in Swansea the topic of information/communications from R.H.Q.was brought up by 4 branch secretaries. Whilst not wishing to lay any blame at the door of the distaff side of R.H.Q. But all and sundry are wondering about the stony silence from Wrexham relating to factual news and information. Prior to the last A.G.M. we were promised the situation would be vastly improved. How ever in fact it has become progressively worse. Can any one let the branches of the RWFCA know when this so called improvement is likely to take place. Failing a definite answer the branches may well have to implement Plan G. More on Plan G later.
Regards RBD REUTERS correspondent resident in Wales. Watch this space

    Gents of the Forum

Now you see why we are going to run the Newsletter for the Forum, which, hopefully, will include items from individuals, Branch Secretaries and of course the 1st Bn The Royal Welsh (Royal Welch Fusiliers).

I had had a few things passed to me, but I am expecting more, so come on 'lets be having you'

    Roger

    Re: Communication

    Hello Bertie,
To try and help you to form a Forum news letter, and considering your request to let the RWFCA branches that are not on line know more about it whilst on this subject Mountain Ash Branch have made a request to see if the news letter can be sent to them via snail mail, they are on line but I promised Lyn that I would forward his request to you. I do need to contact all branch secretaries soon to help me in this quest and on another most important issue that has developed. I will be phoning around to inform all the branches of my request asap, you have pre-empted me on this issue Bertie but I can kill two birds or even three with one stone. Whilst on the subject of info I have been asked by Cardiff to act as a link between Cardiff and all the branches of the RWFCA to forward all and every sad demise of any RWFCA men who cross the big divide all I need is the branch name and the army number and a brief history of his service details and date of their demise and the battalion/s they/he served in. In view of the fact that only one journal exists today I think all our deceased members should be remembered and my thanks go out to Cardiff, by definition Major Hooley for thinking on a more broader outlook than most on this situation, and he deserves our thanks for his efforts. I am actively becoming engaged from today in catching up on the backlog, this will mean most of last years deceased will only have sketchy details. In passing Bertie in requesting more info on PLAN "G" I will release more info later but it is a spoof on the parlous state of the RWFCA branches being studiously ignored by RHQ Wrexham But it does not concern or affect the professional help given by both Sue and Judy.
    regards Brian aka jungle1810

    Re: Communication

    Hello Bertie,
I have renamed plan "G" it is now "G" plan and I can FURNISH you with more info I activated our spy sleepers in to the field today. Dai Davies will run the CIA at Langley Virginia. His code name will be "jigsaw", he earned this soubriquet whilst playing football for the 2nd Battalion RWF the reason is that he goes to pieces in the box.The Moscow ring will be run by Braz of the Denbigh branch his code name will be "Janus" the mythological figure from Roman mythology. The reason for this is Janus faces in two directions one of these faces will be very handy to keep an eye on Post Code LL23 and grid reference S J 3449 this is where there is a distinct of lack of information .
He will be the residenza of number 2 Dzerzhinski Square, Moscow. I will be in charge of the link with G.C.H.Q. my code name will be "L.E.Fant" for mundane information from North of the Border my other nick name will be "EGG BANJO" from my Malayan days for the more sensitive information. Now this news of the RWF spy ring must be on a secret basis and "FOR YOUR EYES ONLY"this will help protect our agents in the field from danger. I am hopeful of obtaining 190 ENIGMA machines and they can be re-calibrated and put to good use by our agents. This info is top secret and is intended to improve communications north of the Border. (ALL TONGUE IN CHEEK)
Regards to al RWFCA agents and my friends (On the Distaff side also north of the border. Hope you like this plan Bertie.
