    Jim Hammond

    Would any member have access to Naval records from 1939-1946 WW2
    My farther served in the Royal Navy during the war. His name James Hammond
    Serves No P/JX 182322 leading seaman. If you can help Please get in touch

    Jim, I had a look at the Naval Records page (http://www.mariners-l.co.uk/UKRNPersonnel.html) and it seems that the only way is to send a written request to the appropriate address (not Kew, as they will only have pre-1920 records I think). Proof of kinship required, charge payable in advance.
