    Thomas Henry Babb - RWF Around 1939-1945

    looking to find any info or pictures on my late grandfather who served in the RWF

    not sure of the years he was in the army but i do know of the years mentioned

    i know at one point he was stationed in india

    he was from a place in northern ireland called Lisburn

    nothing else really to go on

    he did have some medals i was told but sadly they were pawned a long time ago

    he passed in nov 1983 aged 63

    Hi Babbsy,

    No mention in Red Dragon. The India bit suggest he was either with the 1st or 2nd Battalion. Both Battalions fought in the Far East, in addition The 1st Bn also fought at Dunkirk in 1940 and were left with about 70 survivors, the remainder being either killed captured or wounded.
