I had the privilege to have Cow as one of the members of our platoon in London Derry while on attachment to the Royal Hampshire's, (spit) he stood out amongst us Royal Welsh men as one of the most likable guys there and got on with everyone, he was the best ambassador for the Royal Welsh there.He was a very nice man, and I feel sorry for the lose to his family.Steve

A great ambassador for the Royal Welsh and a head full of memories from the depot and throughout my career of Cow a true gentleman and a very proud soldier R.I.P Cow you will be surely missed by all..

Cow what a character allways had a smile on his face,would do anything for anyone,a real workhorse within the Battalion,will be missed by many a Royal Welch man,rest in peace mate.Robbie

Always had a laugh with cow...he was a great character and would go out of his way to help others.such a sad loss .RIP cow.....

i shared a room with gareth ( cow ) when i joined 3 platoon A company . i also served with him in londonderry with 1 r hamps . he always had a smile and i always laughed at the stories he told me . a great guy and a great soldier . goodbye my friend .
