Farewell to Terry Pope
We said our farewells to Terry today. As expected there was a fantastic turnout for one of the great characters of 1 RWF. The Vicar gave a nice sermon though was very honest in pointing out that Terry was no Saint. I thought to myself it's a good job you dont know the rest of us or we would have all been excluded from the service. The last word however was Terry's, as the service finished we were played out to the tune of "One foot in the grave" a lasting memory of the mans sense of humour. RIP Terry and Godbless.

Re: Farewell to Terry Pope
I'm pleased Tery had a good send off and it sounds as if there were a few light hearted moments too. Its good to celebrate someones life rather than weep at their death, though its not an easy thing to do.
RIP Terry, our thoughts are with your family.

Re: Farewell to Terry Pope
Sorry I couldn't make it, but my fond memories of Terry will be with me for a very long time.
I'm glad that he was with us at the Support Company reunion last year.
