Hello All,
Although planning is in it's early stages, the AFD Committee has decided that the main event on Saturday the 25th of June 2011 will be concentrate on Bute park,Coopers field,Cardiff city centre, and Cardiff Castle.
Events taking place in the run up of the A.F.Day will commence with the Flag raising ceremony Cardiff castle on Monday the 20th of June.On Wednesday the A.F.D. golf match takes place. And this will be held at Cotterells Park golf ( the club is on the A 48 between Cardiff and Cowbridge ( Saint Nicholas near Cardiff C F 5 6S J)
Friday the 24th beat the retreat Cardiff. details on web site.
Saturday the 25th of June

1 Public parade through Cardiff City Centre
2 Short Drumhead service.
3 possible medal /Veterans badges presentations.
4 Pre ordered buffet will be available throughout the day in the A.F.D marquee as will the cash bar.
5 A series of entertainments to take place through the day.
6 Stands from various organisations and service charities.
7 Military capability demonstrations will take place.

Addendum Marquee tickets cost £6-50p and information booklets are available before hand @£2-50p each.inclusive of a S.A.E. for return of tickets etc.
