    fred was a lad and a half and he was in my platoon in derry as a section comander and i was the platoon comander he was a great bloke to work with and a good mate to lamps smith who got killed in n/i in 73 he will be rembered by a lot of people for his ways god bless you fred rest in peace wally 15
