William Forwood of Talybont-on-Usk, Brecon sadly passed away on Sunday 23 Jan 2011. He was commissioned (emergency commission) into The Royal Welch Fusiliers on 20 September 1947 but from October 1947 served with 1st Battalion The South Wales Borderers.
