Afghan Dragon - A Pictorial Record of the 1st Bn Tour of Afghanistan

The Afghan Dragon is a Pictorial Record of the 1st Battalions Tour of Afghanistan, covering their pre tour training, the tour, and the Queens visit and medal presentation.

This is a 97 page book which retails for £12.50; I have managed to negotiate the price for Royal Welshmen down to £9 including P&P. Copies are being held in Cardiff and Wrexham.

(NB: It should be noted that the cost of P&P will be £0.85 per booklet (2nd class) and therefore the 1st Battalion would only receive £8.00 for each copy sold).

Could you please pass on this information to your Branch members and inform me as to what quantity your branch might need. I know that the 1st Battalion are selling out of these books and they will not be reprinted, so if your Branch would like some please inform me ASAP.

    **FOR INFORMATION**

Please accept my apologies, but the correct price for this fantastic publication is £10 and £10.85 should you require postage.

I believe there are copies held in the RHQ office at Hightown Barracks.

The best option is to call Des Williams on 01978 316189 to arrange a time to collect.
