Sorry think i posted my question in wrong place so i've reposted here -

I have recently been shown a photograph of about seventeen soldiers sitting wth a big silver cup and written on the bottom of the photo was the following information - 'D.coy R.W.F winners hunters challenge cup 1912' i was hoping that maybe someone may have some knowledge of this or similar events and where they would be held etc. needless to say that i have no names for anyone on the photo. any help or advice appreciated.

Its possible that the cup stills survives in one of the mess silver rooms. What were the guys pictured wearing?
