Hello All,
I have just rec a letter on the Armed Forces Day,Cardiff has been awarded the National Armed Forces Day for 2010 on Saturday the 26th of June and will be run by Cardiff City Council.Other events take place starting on Monday the 21st of June and continue through the week It is a bit early but I think it is better that way. It runs all the week. I am writing to let any golf players who are able to attend know that on Wednesday the 23rd of June a golf competition takes place. All I can tell you is that both individual and team events will take place.The cost for the day will not exceed £20-00p and will include in addition to the golf, coffee on arrival Hog Roast buffet and prize presentations for the winners. I have notified some local players and they are on stand by for more news as I rec it.the letter also wishes "GOOD LUCK" to the winners, as a non golfer I prefer to think it is down to skill not luck? I will of course update you all as I rec more info.

great idea, i assume our societies will be putting in a couple of teams. i am very interested being originally a cardiff boy
