Who's the drummer?
Afternoon all.
Following on from Owen's 100th birthday celebrations and the accompanying photo of him with the drummers from 3/RW, I spy the drummer on the right of the photo has two medals that will fill a gap in my knowledge.
I would like to know the naming details (Regiment abbreviations) on both the Territorial & Army Voluntary Reserve LSGC Medal & the Volunteer Reserves Service LSGC Medal.
I don't know if the gentleman is a member of the forum or not, can anyone assist?
Regards
Richard

Re: Who's the drummer?
Hello Richard,
I know the lad and will get the details as soon as i can track him down, but you will be aware of the cut backs with the TA so it may take a few days. It could be that they are marked either RRW,RWR or RWELSH depending when they were awarded
Regards.

Many thanks Mike, much appreciated.
I don't need his name or any personal info, just the unit abbreviations.
Kind Regards
