There is a Richard Player in the 1891 census of Wales, living at 35 Windmill Terrace (I think terrace, not quite sure though) in Swansea. E O Player is a clerk in the Dry Dock:
    Edward Osmmond Player30
    Amelia May Player26
    Richard Player3
    Henry Emil Player2
    Hilda Player9/12
    Rolla Player9/12
    Catherine Medin16

Can't find the family in 1901, but in 1911 he is back in Wales. Born in 1888. His Medal Index Card is not informative, it confirms him for the trio but no date of entry is stated. I'll ask on another forum if anyone have details on him.
