I can remember when the 2nd Bn arrived at the Transit Camp Nee Soon on their way to Port Dickson, after disembarking off one of the troop ships.

My dad worked in the RPO in Nee Soon. We visited the Bn when they
were in Port Dickson, and on our return to Singers, we broke down and were looked after by a Gurkha patrol.

Am I right in saying that Meredith was RSM of the 2nd in Malaya.
