The Battalion lost in football on Monday night 7-0, it was a hard game in the heat, but the CJPU were slightly stronger.

No excuses but its only the second game the Battalion has played out here and have had little time to train what with ops commitmnets etc.

But well done to the lads.

Good game last night with the Barbarians and the Combined Services. It was also good to see 2 lads on the pitch from the 1st Battalion - LCpls' Chris Budgen and Georgie Kemble. Well done to both. Georgie even got himself on the score sheet.

Also would like to mention a good game was refereed by Dai Willaims.
